Delicious The Best Grilled Chicken Marinade Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar or other vinegar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce I use low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  •  cup lemon juice
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard or Spicy Brown mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 chicken breasts or 3.5 lb chicken

Instructions:

  • A big mixing basin should be used to combine all of the marinade components, and then whisk them together. Afterwards, remove a half cup of the marinade and set it aside for later use in basting the chicken.
  • Putting the chicken in a big bag that can be sealed and pouring the marinade over the top of it. Massage the chicken breasts in a gentle manner, and make sure the bag is closed firmly.
  • If you are short on time, you might want to consider using a fork to make holes in the chicken so that the marinade can work its way into the meat more rapidly.
  • Place the chicken in the refrigerator and marinate it for at least half an hour and up to twenty-four hours. In my opinion, the ideal amount of time is between four and six hours.

To grill

  • Grill the grates and preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
  • After the chicken has been removed from the marinade, allow any extra liquid to drain out. Prepare the chicken by grilling it for five to six minutes on each side, or until it is fully cooked.
  • At regular intervals, basting the chicken with the marinade that was set aside.
  • After the chicken has reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit, remove it from the grill and cover it with aluminium foil. At the very least, give the chicken a rest for five minutes before serving.

Optional

  • It is possible to produce a beautiful sauce to put on top of the chicken by bringing the marinade that was reserved to a boil, then allowing it to simmer until it has slightly decreased in volume.

Notes:

  • In spite of the fact that I marinated my chicken for as little as thirty minutes, the chicken turned out incredibly well. When it comes to marinating, the longer you have to do it, the better it is; nevertheless, you shouldn’t be concerned if you don’t have a lot of time.
  • Preheating the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oiling the grates is the first step in grilling. After the chicken has been removed from the marinade, allow any extra liquid to drain out.
  • Prepare the chicken by grilling it for five to six minutes on each side, or until it is fully cooked. On the inside, the chicken should achieve a temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • At regular intervals, basting the chicken with the marinade that was set aside. Take the chicken from the grill and cover it with aluminium foil. At the very least, give the chicken a rest for five minutes before serving.
  • Turn the oven on to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The chicken should be cooked for 18 to 22 minutes (or 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 18 minutes if you are in a hurry), or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place the chicken that has been marinated on a baking sheet or pan that is shallow. At the very least, give the chicken a rest for five minutes before serving. Use as much baste as you can to achieve the finest flavour.

  • On the hob, preheat a skillet over medium high heat and oil it on the inside. Allow the chicken to cook for eight to ten minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • At the very least, give the chicken a rest for five minutes before serving. If you want those gorgeous sear marks, choose a grill pan that you can use on the hob.
