Easy French Toast Muffins Recipe

Simple and warm, French toast is a breakfast staple. Imagine carrying your favorite food. French Toast Muffins! For busy mornings or calm brunches, French toast-flavored muffins are ideal. 


– 6 slices of bread (any type you prefer, such as white, whole wheat, or brioche) – 3 egg – 1/2 cup milk – 1/4 cup maple syrup – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg – Butter or cooking spray, for greasing muffin tin – Optional toppings: powdered sugar, fresh berries, sliced bananas, chopped nuts, additional maple syrup


Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter or cooking spray to avoid sticking. Cut bread pieces into 1-inch cubes. Set aside.

Step 1

Mix eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl. Put the bread cubes in the egg mixture and coat them evenly. Soak the bread for 5 minutes to absorb the liquid mixture.

Step 2

Fill each muffin cup almost full with moistened bread cubes. The muffins should be golden brown and firm in the center after 20–25 minutes in the preheated oven.

Step 3

After baking, let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Step 4

Serve warm French Toast Muffins with powdered sugar, fresh berries, sliced bananas, chopped nuts, or maple syrup.
