INGREDIENTS
– 6 slices of bread (any type you prefer, such as white, whole wheat, or brioche)– 3 egg– 1/2 cup milk– 1/4 cup maple syrup– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg– Butter or cooking spray, for greasing muffin tin– Optional toppings: powdered sugar, fresh berries, sliced bananas, chopped nuts, additional maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter or cooking spray to avoid sticking. Cut bread pieces into 1-inch cubes. Set aside.
Step 1
Mix eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl. Put the bread cubes in the egg mixture and coat them evenly. Soak the bread for 5 minutes to absorb the liquid mixture.

Fill each muffin cup almost full with moistened bread cubes. The muffins should be golden brown and firm in the center after 20–25 minutes in the preheated oven.

After baking, let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
