Black Section Separator

These slow-cooked Cranberry Meatballs are excellent for holiday parties. Homemade meatballs using simple ingredients and flavor.

Ingredient

– 2 large eggs well beaten – ½ cup panko breadcrumb – ¼ cup ketchup – 2 tablespoons finely chopped Italian parsley plus more for garnish – 2 tablespoons light brown sugar packed – 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon garlic powder – 1 tablespoon onion powder – ½ teaspoon kosher salt – ½ teaspoon black pepper – ½ teaspoon smoked paprika – 2 pounds lean ground beef For the sauce: – 14 ounces jellied cranberry sauce – 12 ounces chili sauce – 2 tablespoons light brown sugar packed

Introduction

Turn the oven on to 425°F. Prepare a sheet tray by lining it with parchment paper. Put the eggs, breadcrumbs, ketchup, parsley, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce,

Step 1

garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika in a big bowl. Mix the ingredients together. Put the beef in and mix it well with the other things.

Step 2

Taking a picture is better. Press about 1 and ½ tablespoons of the mix into a ball with your hands. It's easier for me to use a 1.5-teaspoon cookie scoop.

Step 3

Place them on the prepared sheet tray so that they don't touch. To get dark brown, bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Insert the meatballs into the slow cooker's body (6-quart or similar-sized), then set it away.

Step 4

Combine the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, and brown sugar in a medium-sized bowl and mix them together using a whisk. As long as it doesn't get completely smooth, that's fine.

Step 5

Cover the meatballs with the sauce by pouring it over them and stirring them around. It can be on low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours.

Step 6

A little bit of stirring every 30 minutes will keep the sauce from burning. If you want, add more parsley as a garnish and serve right away.
