Chocolate-covered Cookie Dough Truffles are delicious. These are tasty, easy, and great for gifts and snacking.
Ingredient
– 1 cup all-purpose flour– 1 stick unsalted butter softened– ¾ cup light brown sugar packed– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract– ½ teaspoon salt– 2 Tablespoons milk– 3 cups milk chocolate chips or any flavor chocolate you prefer divided
Introduction
Heat the oven to 350°F. Cover a sheet tray with parchment. Bake 5 minutes with a single coating of flour. Let cool at room temperature after baking.
Step 1
Cream butter and brown sugar with a hand mixer. Mix in vanilla and salt. Add flour and stir until crumbly. Add milk and stir.
Step 2
Stir in ¾ cup of chocolate chips with a spoon or spatula. Roll a tablespoon of cookie dough into balls and place on a wax or parchment-lined tray.
Step 3
Freeze for 2 hours or overnight. Melt the remaining chocolate chips in a microwave-safe container. Stir with a spoon until melted in 20-second microwave batches.
Step 4
Place dough balls one at a time into melted chocolate. Get them covered in chocolate and use a fork to remove them, tapping off the excess chocolate on the bowl.
Step 5
Put on wax or parchment. Continue coating all dough balls. Put any leftover chocolate in a piping bag or plastic bag with the tip cut off and sprinkle it over the truffles.
Step 6
Put back in the freezer for 15 minutes to solidify the chocolate. Store truffles in an airtight jar in the fridge until serving.
