Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

These soft, chewy Chocolate Chip Muffins are the best way to start the day if you love chocolate.  

INGREDIENTS

– 1 & 1/2 cups (180g) all-purpose flour – 1/3 cup (67g) granulated sugar – 1/4 cup (50g) packed brown sugar – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 2 large eggs, lightly beaten – 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted & slightly cooled – 1/2 cup (118ml) milk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chip

Warm the oven up to 375°F. Coat or grease 12 muffin tins with a little oil.

INSTRUCTIONS

The flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt should all be mixed together with a whisk. In the middle, make a well. Put away.  

Step 2

Put the eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla in a different bowl. Add it to the flour mixture and stir it in just until the dry ingredients are mixed in.  

Step 3

Add the chocolate chips and mix them in. Fill each muffin cup about two thirds of the way to the top with batter, which should take about three tablespoons of batter.  

Step 4

Place muffins in the oven and bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until a toothpick put into one comes out clean.
