Simple and warm, French toast is a breakfast staple. Imagine carrying your favorite food. French Toast Muffins! For busy mornings or calm brunches, French toast-flavored muffins are ideal. 


– 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg – 1/2 teaspoon ground clove – 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar – 2 large egg – 1 cup canned pumpkin puree – 1/3 cup water – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional Add-Ins: – 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts) – 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries – 1/2 cup chocolate chip


Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger in a medium basin. Set aside.

Step 1

Mix softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until frothy. After adding each egg, stir well. Add pumpkin puree, water, and vanilla essence and mix well.

Mix the dry ingredients into the wet components until just combined. Do not overmix. Carefully mix nuts, raisins, and chocolate chips into the batter.

Fill the loaf pan with batter and spread evenly. Bake the bread for 60–70 minutes in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 4

The pumpkin bread should sit in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to finish cooling before slicing. Slice and serve pumpkin bread after cooling. Enjoy!
