Matcha Cookies Recipe

Butter melts in slow cooker. Foaming brown butter. Buttercream. Yummy butter. Mildly toast butter foam crumbs. Chill brown butter in a heat-safe basin for 10-15 minutes.

Mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder together in a sizable bowl.

Mix warm brown butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and lemon zest in another large basin. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.

Just combine the dry ingredients with the wet, mixing them together. Add the white chocolate chips and fold.

Scoop 2 tablespoons (30 ml) matcha cookie dough onto a small prepared baking sheet or large dish. Refrigerate cookie dough balls for 60 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Parchment two large sheets. On the baking sheet, place 5-6 chilled matcha cookie dough balls 3 inches apart. Want white chocolate chips? Add them.
