Hot Chocolate Cake Easiest Recipe Ever

This Hot Chocolate Cake is a delicious bundt cake filled with chocolate, marshmallows, and more that utilises few ingredients and is excellent for winter.  


– ½ cup salted butter room temperature – 1 ½ cups granulated sugar – 4 large eggs – ¾ cup whole milk – ½ cup hot chocolate mix – 1 tsp baking powder – 1 tsp baking soda – 3 cups all-purpose flour – ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips – ½ cup mini marshmallow bit Glaze: – ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips – ½ cup heavy whipping cream – Extra mini marshmallow bits optional


To get started, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and butter a Bundt pan that is 10 inches in diameter (the bottom).  

Step 1

Utilising an electric hand mixer, combine the granulated sugar and butter in a large mixing basin and cream them together until they are completely smooth.  

Step 2

The eggs and milk should be whisked into the mixture until it is completely smooth and runny. Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda,

and hot chocolate mix together in a gentle manner until the cake mixture is completely smooth and there are no dry clumps of flour left standing. 

Step 4

Incorporate the chocolate chips and marshmallow bits into the batter by folding them in until they are spread equally throughout the mixture. 

Step 5

In the Bundt pan, spread the batter out, and then bake it for forty-five minutes.  

Step 6

Wait for the cake to cool while you melt the chocolate chips with the cream of tartar in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time to make the glaze.  

Step 7

Smooth the mixture with whisk. Finish the cake with the icing and micro marshmallows before serving.
