Graveyard Dirt Cups Easiest Recipe Ever

Graveyard Dirt Cups are a Halloween dessert kids and adults love. Easy, tasty, and fun!  


– 38.2 ounce 2 19.1 ounce packages packages Oreo cookies (family size) – 4 cups whole milk – 7.8 ounces 2 3.9 ounce packages instant chocolate pudding mix – 16 ounces whipped topping thawed – 1 cup chocolate syrup divided – Milano Cookie – Black cookie icing – Ghost peep – Mini pumpkin candie – Halloween sprinkle


Process Oreos in batches in a food processor. Process into crumbs. Place crumbs in a large bowl and set aside. 

Step 1

Pour milk and chocolate custard mix into a large bowl and stir for 2 minutes to thicken. Add whipped topping and fold until streak-free. Pour in ½ cup of chocolate syrup and mix. 

Step 2

It should be streaky. Store it in the fridge until assembly. Prepare 18 9-ounce or similar-sized cups or serving dishes.  

Step 3

Bottom the cups with 2 teaspoons of cookie crumbs. Just under ¼ cup of pudding mix on top. Use 2 teaspoons additional cookie crumbs and the remaining pudding.  

Step 4

Finally, cover each cup with 1 tablespoon of cookie crumbs. Stir in the remaining ½ cup of chocolate syrup with the cookie crumbs. This will be clumpy and damp. Set aside.  

Step 5

Decorate Milano cookies with black icing to say “RIP” or anything else and add them to cups. Put peep ghosts in cups. Add peeps and cookies to half the cups to make them seem different, 

Step 6

but do as many as you want. Try gently pressing them into the custard so they stick up. Add clumpy cookie crumbs to the cups' tops to mimic freshly dug graves and uneven Earth. 

Step 7

Mix in small pumpkins and Halloween sprinkles. Serve immediately or chill.
