Cinnamon Almond Dutch Baby Pancake Recipe

The best quick and easy breakfast is cinnamon almond dutch baby pancake. This delicious pancake can be baked in 5 minutes!  


– 3 large egg – 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup milk – 2 tablespoons granulated sugar – 1 & 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon almond extract – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 4 tablespoons (56g) unsalted butter – 1 tablespoon sliced almond – confectioners' sugar, preserves, or maple syrup, for serving

Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine eggs, flour, milk, sugar, cinnamon, almond extract, and salt in a blender. Blend smooth.  

Step 1 


Put butter in a 10-inch cast iron skillet and bake. After the butter melts, remove the pan from the oven.   

Step 2

Put the batter in the pan without stirring and return it to the oven. Bake 20 minutes without opening the oven. A golden-brown pancake should be puffy.  

Step 3

Sprinkle almonds on pancakes. Turn down the oven to 300°F. Bake 5–8 minutes until golden. Add confectioners' sugar, preserves, or maple syrup and serve warm.
