This delicious Pineapple Dump Cake will transport you to paradise. This dessert is tasty and easy to make, perfect for times you want something sweet but don't want to cook. 


– 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained – 1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits, undrained – 1 box (18.25 oz) yellow cake mix – 1 cup unsalted butter, melted – 1 cup shredded coconut (optional) – Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional) – Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving


Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. Spread crushed pineapple and pineapple pieces with juices in the baking dish.

Step 1

Add dry cake mix equally to the pineapple layer. Gently massage the cake mix with a spoon or spatula to distribute it evenly. Cover as much of the cake mix with melted butter.

Shredded coconut can be sprinkled over the cake mix and butter layer. Bake the baking dish for 45–50 minutes in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
