Best Parmesan Baked Chicken Tenders (Oven Or Air Fryer) Recipe

A family-friendly recipe for Parmesan Baked Chicken Tenders may be made in the oven or air fryer, so skip the freezer aisle and deep fryer.

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup Panko breadcrumb – 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup all-purpose flour – 2 large egg – 1 1/4 lbs uncooked chicken tender – Cooking spray

INSTRUCTIONS

Parchment a baking sheet. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and ½ teaspoon pepper in a medium bowl. Put flour in another medium basin. Whisk eggs in a third medium basin.

Step 1

Bread each chicken tender by dredging it in flour, shaking off excess, then covering it on all sides with eggs. Press all sides of the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture.

Step 2

Bread and place the remaining chicken tenders 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. Cooking spray chicken tenders lightly. (Optional, adds crunch and golden brown color.)

Step 3

TO BAKE THE TENDERS IN THE OVEN:- Preheat the oven to 475°F.

Step 4

This will take about 15 minutes, and you should turn the chicken tenders over once halfway through. Take them out of the oven and serve with the sauces of your choice.

Step 5

TO COOK THE TENDERS IN AN AIR FRYER:- Start the air fryer at 360°F. Grease the basket with frying spray and add some tenders. 

Step 6

Flip the tenders halfway through air-frying until done, about 12 minutes. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauces after air-frying.
